Plating was artistic but not fussy, and the food from a seared ahi salad appetizer to roasted veal for two to a varied chocolates plate for dessert had great depth of flavor and complexity without trying to do too many things at once.
We had a wonderful evening here, as beyond the food and wine, the entire staff made the room small; seats about 25 feel welcoming and warm; they were clearly glad to be helping us enjoy our time.
Highly recommended! A bit out of the way near where the M2 ends in Nation but well worth the trip. Went on a recommendation and we were happy at the end.
Run by a Japanese husband and wife, very gracious, great service, great wine pairings as well. I had a choice a different bottles for each course depending on my taste.
The service was great and the food very good, particularly the creme brulee - could have eaten 2 of those Nice choice of wines by the glass.
The service was spectacular, as was the food. It was my first time trying urchin and the waitresses were very happy to explain the composition of the dish and it was delicious!
Can't wait to go back. We have been going here for years and have found the food so consistently good and beautifully presented that not only do we go ourselves, but love to introduce friends to this wonderful restaurant on the plaza in Mouans-Sartoux.
